Courtenay: Native Sons Hall (register 250 338 5371)

Fridays, Jan 16 - Mar 27 (no class Feb 6, Feb 27)

Intermediate African Drumming: 12 - 1 pm (***please note that only students who are in dun class in Royston will be playing duns in this class***)

Beyond Beginners African Drumming: 1:30 - 2:30 pm

Beginners African Drumming (will likely not run due to low registration): 2:45 - 3:45 pm

******Current Beyond Beginners Drummers: Please register for Beyonds; you will hear from me via email if there will be changes to scheduling (ie if you should switch up a level).*******

Mondays, Jan 12 - Mar 23 (no class Feb 16)

Drums Alive for Every-Body: 12:15 - 1:15 pm (sorry this class is already full with a waitlist)

Royston Community Hall (pre-register through Monica via email)

Mondays, Jan 12 - Mar 23 (no class Feb 16)

Duns (experienced players or with permission of instructor): 2:30 - 3:15 pm

Intermediate African Drumming: 3:30 - 4:30 pm

Introduction to Frame Drumming: Everyone Welcome - 2- 3 pm

Please email Monica ASAP to express interest; participants will be required to bring their own frame drum (recommended: REMO Fibreskyn 14" or 16" https://www.long-mcquade.com/46946/Drums/Hand-Frame-Drums/Remo/Frame-Drum-Fiberskyn-14-Inch.htm) ***Native American First Nations handheld frame drums intended to be played with beaters will likely not be appropriate for this class - check with Monica if unsure***

Tuesdays, February 24 - April 21 (No class March 31 and  April 7)

***No Beginners session***

Beyond Beginners African Drumming: 3:30 - 4:15 pm

Radiant Lotus Women's Qigong: "Rising" (for continuing students) - 11:00 am - 12:15 pm

Sisterhood of the Frame Drum: 12:45 - 1:45 pm (***Jingled frame drum/tambourine will be incorporated; scheduling may change to lengthen class times - TBA via email)

Radiant Lotus Women's Qigong: "Unfolding" (for beginners) - 11 - 12 noon
