Summer Solstice Drum/Potluck/Fundraiser

Hello Drummers and Rhythm Enthusiasts!
It's that time again....Solstice is next week, and to celebrate both that, the Super Moon, and the end of the drumming season before summer break, I am having another Potluck/Fundraiser/Drum.
Please join me next Sunday, June 23rd at the Royston Community Hall (lights at Royston Rd and Island Hwy) from 6 - 8 pm: donations to CV Therapeutic Riding Assoc. to buy hay for the horses! Something local this time round....As always, bring your joyful energy, a friend/family members/fellow drummers etc, a potluck finger food dish to share, and your own utensils. And it's also a super moon/full moon the same day, so why not celebrate that as well by heading out to Goose Spit after the potluck to watch the moon rise and drum up a storm with the gang that gathers at the far end of the beach to create rhythm-scapes every Sunday night! Hope to see many of you next Sunday!

Or come to the Royston Hall on the ff dates for "everyone/every level welcome" drumming from 6 - 7 pm on July 21st and August11th.

I also plan to be in Campbell River and the Qualicum Beach area this summer, so stay tuned for those opportunities as well!

Other than that, please come to Goose Spit on Sunday eves (weather permitting) from about 7;30 pm onward to drum with fellow rhythm lovers (or bring your voice, your shaker, or what-have-you!)....everyone welcome! If you'd like to receive posts with regards to Goose Spit drumming, contact Alan at comox@shaw.ca.

Have a wonderful summer!
Cheers!
